BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTTON OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO COUNTY
SERVICE AREA N0. 11 (Government Code Section 25210.80 et seq)

4 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
5 has determined that services of the type now being provided within
6 County Service Area No. 11 should be provided in another herein-
9 after described portion of the unincorporated area of Butte
8 county,
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
10 1. That the territory herein described is proposed to be
11 annexed to County Service Area No. 11. That the boundaries of the
12 territory to be annexed to County Service Area No. 11 are more
13 particularly described as follows, to wit:
14 A11 that certain real property situate, lying and being
15 in the County of Butte, State of California, and more
16 particularly described~as follows:
17 Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of
the Martenette Addition to Durham, with the easterly
18 right of way line of Franklin Avenue; thence southwesterly
across Franklin Avenue 45 feet, more or less, to the
19 intersection of the westerly right of way line of Franklin
Avenue and the southerly line of the northerly 20 feet of
20 Lot 2 of the Second McAnarlin Tract; thence westerly 150
feet more or less along said .southerly line to the west-
21 erly line of said Lot 2; thence northerly 45.25 feet more
or less along the westerly line of Lot 2 and Lot 1 of said
22 subdivision to the southerly right of way line of Florida
Lane; thence northeasterly across Florida Lane to the in-
23 tersection of the northerly right of way line of Florida
Lane and the centerline of the alley in Block R of the j
24 Town of Durham as shown on said map, filed in Book 1 of
Maps, page 59, Records of Butte County, California; thence
25 northerly along said centerline and its extension northerly
to its intersection with the southerly right of way line
26 of Faber Street; thence northeasterly across Faber Street,
to the intersection of the northerly right of way line of
27 Faber Street with the easterly line of the alley through
Block J of said Town of Durham; thence northerly along
28 the easterly line of said alley to its intersection wit h
the southerly right of way line of Campbell Street; thence
29 northwesterly across Campbell Street to the intersection of
the northerly right of way line of Campbell Street with the
30 easterly line of the alley through Block G of said Town of
Durham; thence northerly along the easterly line of said
31 alley to its intersection with the southerly right of way
line of Durham Street; thence northeasterly across Durham
32 Street to the intersection of the northerly right of way

line of Durham Street with the easterly line of the alley
through Block B of said Town of Durham; thence no rtherly
along the easterly line of said alley. and its extension
northerly, to the northerly right of way line of the Dayton-
I}urham Highway; thence westerly along said northerly right
of way line to its intersection with the northerly exten-
sion of the westerly right of way line of the Durham-Nelson
Road; thence southerly along said northerly extension and
westerly right of way line to its intersection with a point
on the westerly extension of tl~ southerly boundary of the
Ricketts Subdivision; thence easterly along said westerly
extension and said southerly boundary line and its exten-
sion easterly to its intersection with the easterly right of
way line of Franklin Avenue; thence northerly along said
easterly right of way line to the point of beginning.
2, That the following types of services are provided within
County Service Area No. ll, to wit; Street lightingo
3o That said described area to be annexed shall be
designated as done Two, within the meaning of Government Code
Section 2521008, and that a tax rate to the extent of benefit
to said `Zone Two, derived from services provided to the property
within said zone, shall be set.
4. That on the .°~ D ~ day of December, 1966, at the hour
of 11:00 i~'clock a,m., in the Supervisors' Room of the Courthouse
in the County of Butte, located in the City of Oroville at Bird
arr3 Huntoon Streets, a hearing on the question of the annexation
of the territory hereinabove.,described to County Service Area No.
11 will be held.
5o That the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors shall give
the notice of hearing as prescribed by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 1966, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors H.owsden, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Giles
