BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTEa STATE OF CALIFORNIA
NOTICE
and
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS,
OR PORTIONS THEREOF,
and
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
(Portion o£ Nelson Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
COUNTY OF BU1'TEr STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That it is the intention of said Board of Supervise
to abandon the County Highways, or portions thereof, hereinafter
described, if it is determined at the hearing as hereinafter set,
that said County Highwaysf or portions thereof, are unnecessary
for present or prospective public use.
2. That the hearing on this Notice and Resolution to
abandon County Highways, or portions thereof, sha11 be held on
Tuesdayr ~,R.t~,.~s.~ ~zo, 1966, at /!.'Od a.m. of said day, in the
Supervisors Room in the Butte County Court House, fronting on
Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which time said Board
will hear evidence of any party interested.
3. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the
County of Butte, and hereinafter designated by this Board, for
at least two {2} successive weeks prior to the date fixed for
the hearing. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution sha11 be
conspicuously posted along the line of the highway proposed to be
abandoned for at least two {2} weeks prior to the date of said
hearing.
4. That the County Highways,, or portions thereof, the
subject of this Notice and Resolution, are situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, and moxe particularly described as
follows:

All that certain real property situated in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as:
All that portion of tk~at certain County road numbered
29363, more commonly called NELSON AVENUE, being a
portion of Sections Two (2}, Three (3)x Ten (10), and
Eleven (11), Township Nineteen (19} North, Range Three
(3) East, M.D.M.x the centerline of which is described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the South line of said Section
2 from which the Southwest corner of said Section 2~bears
South 89°51'04" West 550 feet; thence from said point
of beginning Westerly along the centerline of the exist-
ing Nelson Avenue 3,9601 feet to a point from which a
1-1f2 inch iron pipe with brass cap marked TC&F-4-G
bears North 03°30''24" West 105.31 feet, said point being
the end of the herein described centerline.
Bearings and distances are based on the California
Coordinate System, Zone II, and the zone IT Coordinates
for the point of beginning are Y=676,734.02 and
X 2x109,592.85.
5. That the Oroville Mercury Register, a newspaper
of general circulation, published in the County of Butte, State
of California, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which
this Notice and Resolution shall be published as required by law.
The foregoing resolution was adopted and passed on
the 29th day of November , 1966, by the following vote:
