ORDER ABANDONING COUNTY HIGT3WAY5, OR PORTIONS THEREOF
4 (PORTION OF NELSON BAR ROAD) ____

'5 This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
6 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
7 on Tuesday, the 20th day of December, 1966, at 11:00 a.m. of said
8 day in the Supervisors' Room of the Butte County Courthouse
9 fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville, Butte County, California,
10 and it appearing to said Board that a NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF
11 INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF, AND
12 NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING of said abandonment was duly
13 and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and evidence;
14 both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing,
15 from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described
16 county highway and portions thereof are unnecessary for present
17 and prospective use;
I8 NOW, TI3EREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
19 1_ That the county highways, or portions thereof,
20 situate in the County of Butte, State of California, as herein-
21 after more particularly described, are hereby abandoned.
22 2. That the description of said county highways, ar
23 portions thereof, so abandoned by this order is as follows:
24 All that certain real property situated in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as:

A portion of the Nelson Bar Road in Sections 5, 7
26 and 8 in Township 21 North, Range 4 East, M.D.B. & M.,
more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of the Nelson Bar Road lying between
28 a point on the centerline of the Nelson Bar Road and
on the south line of the northeast quarter of said
29 Section 7, from which point the southeast corner of
said northeast quarter bears North 88°32°58" East
30 1,893.00 feet to a point in the centerline of said
Nelson Bar Road from which point the south quarter
31 corner of said Section 5 bears North 87°28=34" East
32 1,728.05 feet.

1 Bearings and distances in the above description are
based on the California Coordinate System, Zone II
'2 and Zone II coordinates for the point of beginning ',
are Y=737,447.29 and X=2,121,789.46.

4 3. That the Clerk o£ this Board shall cause a
5 ! certified copy of this Order, attested by the Clerk, with the
6 seal of the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, to be
7 recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte,
S State of California.
9 The foregoing order and resolution was duly adopted and
10 passed this 20th day of December, 1966, on roll call by the
11 following vote:
12 AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McRillop, Pryde and Chairman Gile
