HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-178i . ~., :~ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 1.4 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION AND ORDER NO. 66- 178 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA ORDER ABANDONING COUNTY HIGHWAYS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF (PORTION OF NELSON AVENUE) This matter came on regularly for hearing before the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, on Tuesday, the 20th day of December, 1966, at 11:00 a.m, of said day in the Supervisors' Room of the Butte County Courthouse fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroville, Butte County, California, and it appearing to said Board that a NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF, AND NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING of said abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described county highway and portions thereof are unnecessary for present and prospective use; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows: 1. That the county highways, or portions thereof, situate in the County of Butte, State of California, as herein- after more particularly described, are hereby abandoned. 2. That the description of said county highways, or portions thereof, so abandoned by this order is as follows: All that certain real property situated in the County I of Butte, State of California, described as: All that portion of that certain County road numbered 29363, more commonly called NELSON AVENUE, being a portion of Sections Two (2), Three (3), Ten {10), and Eleven (11), Township nineteen (19) North, Range three (3) East, M.D.M., the centerline of which is described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the South line of said Section 2 from which the Southwest corner of said Section 2 bears South 89°51'04" West 550± feet; thence from said point of beginning westerly along the centerline of the exist= ing Nelson Avenue 31960± feet to a point from which a 1-1/2 inch iron pipe with brass cap marked TC&F-4--G bears North 03°30'24" West 105.31 feet, said point being -1- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 the end of the herein described centerline. Bearings and distances are based on the California Coordinate System, Zone II, and the Zone II Coordinates for the point of beginning are Y=676,734.02 and X=2,109,592.85_ 3. 'That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy of this Order, attested by the Clerk, with the seal of the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the C0i7NTY OE` BT7TTE, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
