RESOLUTION ANN~ING TERRITORY TO COUNTY SERVICE
2 AREA N0. 11 (Government Code Section 25210.80
et seq)

4 1~HEREAS, heretofore on the 22nd day of November, 1966
S the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
6 California, adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention
7 to Annex Territory to County Service Area No. 11; and
8 '.WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the ~o u day of
9 ~ ,1966, at 11 A.M. of said day in the Board of
10 Supervisors Room, Courthouse, City of Oroville, State of California
11 as the time and place for the public hearing for the annexation
12 of said territory; and
13' T~t~EREAS, said Board at said time and place proceeded to
14 hear arguments, both for and against the annexation of said
15 territory; and
16 WHEREAS, no written protests against the annexation of
17 said territory were filed,
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
19' of the County of Butte, State of Califorr~ a as follows:
20 1. That said Board hereby finds and determines the
21 proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Government Code
22 Section 25210.80, et seq., and that publication and notice were
23 given pursuant thereto, and that said Bca rd finds and determines
24' that the extent to which the services described are extended are
25 county services.
26 2, That said Board hereby determines to annex territory
27' to said County Service Area No. 11.
28 3. That the boundaries of said territory to be annexed
29 to said Service Area No. 11 are hereby finally determined and
30' established and fully described as follows:
31. All that certain real property situate, lying and
being in the County of Butte, State of California,
32 and more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line
of the Martenette Addition to Durham, with the
easterly right of way line of Franklin Avenue;
thence southwesterly across Franklin Avenue 45 feet,
more or less, to the intersection of the westerly
right of way line of Franklin Avenue and the south-
erly line of the m rtherly 20 feet of Lot 2 of the
Second McAnarlin Tract; thence westerly 150 feet
more or less along said southerly-line to the west-
erly line of said I<ot 2; thence northerly 45.25
feet more or less along the westerly line of Lot 2
and Lot 1 of said subdivision to the southerly
right of way line of Flordia Lane; thence north-
easterly across Florida Lane to the intersection of
the northerly right of way line of Florida Lane
and the centerline of the alley in Block R of the
Town of Durham as shown on said map, filed in Book
1 of Maps, page 59, Records of Butte County,
California; thence northerly along said centerline
and its extension northerly to its intersection
with the southerly right of way line of Faber
Street; thence northeasterly across Faber Street,
to the intersection of the northerly right of way
line of Faber Street with the easterly line of
the alley through Block J of said Town of Durham;
thence northerly along the easterly line of said
alley to its intersection with the southerly
right of way line of Campbell Street; thence
northwesterly across Campbell Street to the in-
tersection of the northerly right of way line of
Campbell Street with the easterly line of the alley
through. Block G of said Town of Dur~iam; thence
northerly along the easterly line of said alley
to its intersection with the southerly right of
way line of Durham Street; thence northeasterly
across Durham Street to the intersection of the
northerly right of way line of Durham Street with
the easterly line of the alley through Black B of
said Town of Durham; thence northerly along the
easterly line of said alley and its extension
northerly, to the northerly right of way line of
the Dayton-Durham Highway; thence westerly along
said northerly right of way line to its intersection
with the northerly extension of the westerly right
of way line of the Durham-Nelson Road; thence
southerly along said northerly extension and
westerly right of way line to its intersection with
a point on the westerly extension of the southerly
boundary of the Ricketts Subdivision; thence east-
erly along said westerly extension and said southerly
boundary line and its extension easterly to its
intersection with the easterly right of way line of
Franklin Avenue; thence northerly along said east-
erly right of way line to the point of beginning.
4. That the type of extended services to be provided
within said territory to be annexed is street lighting.
5. That said described area to be annexed shall be
designated as Zone 2, within the meaning of Government Code
Section 25210.8, and that a tax rate to the extent of benefit to

said zone derive from services provided to the property within
said zone shall be set and levied upon all taxable property
within. said zone.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California this 2oeh day of
', December , 1966, by the following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Giles
