1 BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 666
2 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ONE WAY TRAFFIC ON
PORTIONS OF EAST AND WEST SIDEDRIVE OF ESPLANADE"

4 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
5 do ordain as follows:
6 1. That on the East sidedrive of Esplanade from the North boundary
i:7 of East Sixth Avenue to the South boundary of East Ninth Avenue, north bound
8 one way traffic only shall be permitted.
' 9 2. That on the East sidedrive of Esplanade from the North boundary
10 of East Ninth Avenue to the South line of Lindo Channel, two way north and
11 south traffic shall be permitted,
12 yi~ 3, That on the West sidedrive of Esplanade from the North boundary
13 line of West Seventh Avenue to the South line of Lindo Channel, one way south
34 bound traffic only shall be permitted.
15 4. Any provision of this Ordinance which regulates traffic or delegate,
16 the regulation of traffic upon state highways in any way for which the approval
17 of the Department of Public Works is required by state law, shall cease to be
18 operative six months after receipt by the County Supervisors of written notice
.19 of withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public Works.
20 5. Whenever this Ordinance delegates au;~ority to a County Officer,
21 or authorizes action by the Board of Supervisors to regulate traffic upon a
22 state highway in any wad which by state law requires the prior approval of the
23 Department of Public Works, no such officer shall exercise such authority nor
24 shall such action by the Board of Supervisors be effective with respect to any
25 state highway without the prior approval in writing of,the Department of Public
26 Works when and to the extent required by division 9 and Division 3.1 of the
27 Vehicle Code.
28 6. This Ordinance shall be, and is hereby declared to be in full force
2g and effect from and after sixty (60) days after the date of its passage and before
30 the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be pub-
31 lished once, with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors votin,
32 for and against it in the f;hicn P. rj 5? $prnrri a newspaper publishes.
