Gt t.?:. ~ ~, ~` J ~` l BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 670 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OE' CALIFORNIA, PROHIBIT- 3 ING USE OF COUNTY HIGHWAYS TN UNINCORPORATED RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISIC 4 AREAS BY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES E.YCEEDTNG A GROSS WEIGHT OF 14 000 LB: S The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 6 California, do ordain as follows: 7 SECTION 1: Commercial vehicles exceeding a gross weight of $ 14,000 lbs. are hereby prohibited from using the following County 9 highways, to wit: 10 East Avenue - between Cohasset Road and U.S. Highway 99-E north of Chico '1l Lassen. Avenue - between Cohasset Road and U. S. 12 Highway 99-E north of Chico 13 Eaton Avenue - between Cohasset Road and U. 5. Highway 99-E north of Chico i14 Hicks Lane - between U. S. Highway 99-E and Keefer Road 15 Garner Road - between U, S. Highway 99-E and 16 Keefer Road. 17 SECTION 2: This Board hereby designates the alternate route 18 for the use of vehicles prohibited from using the County highways ,19 named in SECTION 1 hereof to be as follows, to wit: 20 Keefer Road and Cahasset Highway. ,21 SECTION 3: Commercial vehicles exceeding a gross weight, of 22 14,000 lbs. are hereby prohibited from using the following County 23 highways, to wit: 24 Pine Oaks Drive - between the Oroville-Quincy Road and U. S. Highway 40-A 25 Glenn Drive - between the Oroville-Quincy Road and ';26 U. S. Highway 40-A. `27 SECTION 4: This Board hereby designated the alternate route ;28 for the use of vehicles prohibited from using the County highways 29 named in SECTION 3 hereof to be as follows, to wit: 30 OROVILLE DAM BOULEVARD. '31 SECTION 5: That appropriate signs shall be erected indicatim i32 the highways affected by this ordinance, it being determined that -1- 7~ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 91 to li 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 such signing will b®st serve to give notice of this ordinance. SECTION 6: Every person convicted of a misdemeanor for a violation of this ordinances shall be punished, as provided in Section 42001, of the California Vehicle Cod®, as for a violation of Div. 15, (commencing at Section 35000) of said code, by authority of which this ordinance is enacted. SECTION 7: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect within thirty (30) days after its passag®, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passag®~ it shall be published once with the names of the members voting for and against the same in Orov~.lle Press , a newspaper published in the County of Butte, Stat® of California.
