WHEREAS, the County of Butte has acquired data processing
equipment which will enable the county to do extensive work for al:
departments in the county; and
WHEREAS, physical facilities are being so arranged as to
have a separate facility for the data processing program; and
WHEREAS, this board feels that in the interests of efficient
handling of the data processing program, data processing should
be designated as a separate department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS O:
THE COUNTY OF BUTTE as follows:
1. That data processing function be, and is hereby,
established as a separate department to be known as the "Data
Processing Department";
2a That this board further hereby names and designates
Helmut Endres as the head of the heretofore established Data
Processing Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective on the 17 day of ~t'Mri7~7 1967.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, Buate of California, this 17th day of January, 1967, by
the following vote:
AYES:Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon McIliilop, Pryde and Chairman Howsden
NOES : None
