RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF OROVILLE-WYANDOTTE IRRIGATION
DISTRICTgS.APPLICATION FOR DAVIS-GRUNSKY ACT FUNDS
WHEREAS, Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District has applied
for funds under the Davis-Grunsky Act for recreational development
of property on the `South Fork Project Reservoirs; and
WHEREAS, such a development is expected to give an economic
assist to Butte, Yuba and Plumas Counties; and
WHEREAS, such facilities will be greatly beneficial to the
general public by its development in providing recreational
facilities to the Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District's reser-
voirs at Little Grass Valley and 'Sly Creek; and
WHEREAS, the benefit will accrue to all the citizens of the
State of California as well as to the citizens of the County of
Butte,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE that they hereby endorse the application
of the Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District for Davis-Grunsky
Act funds for the development of recreational facilities within
their project.
FA'SSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County.
of Butte, State of California, this 17th day of January, 1967, by
the following vote:
