BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF
S?,JINi~ING POOL ON THE BUTTE COUNTY FAIR-
GROUNDS AT GRIDLEY, CALIFORNIA
?WHEREAS, the Golden Feather Fair in m njunction with the
City of Gridley and Gridley Union High School District desire to
construct a swimming pool upon the Butte County Fairgrounds in
Gridley; and .
'T~fEREAS, the proposed swimming pool would be a benefit to the
aforementioned agencies, and to the public in general; and
WHEREAS, engineering contracts have been prepared pursuant to
the request of the Golden Feather Fair; and
°f~I-IEREAS, the funds for the construction of said pool are
available and properly budgeted by said agency; and
~(HEREAS, a county service area is in the process of fcrmation
which service area shall pay for the maintenance of said swimming
~ pool,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte that the construction of said swimming pool
is hereby authorized and bid sha11 be let pursuant to the
specifications on file for the construction thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 24th day of January, 1967,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, McKi].J.op, Pryde and Chairman Howsden
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Maxon
