COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BENNUM AND LUNT ROADS PUR«
SUANT TO DGIR AGREEMENT NO , 154502
"~THEREA'S, the State of California, acting by and through the
Department of Mater Resources, did on the third day of August9 1965a
enter into an agreement with the County of Butte, hereinafter
referred to as DWTR Agreement No, 154502; and
TaTHEREA'S, said agreement provided for the reconstruction of
Bennum and Lunt Roads by Department and acceptance of said roads
and incorporation thereof into County's road system upon the
completion thereof by Department; and
WHEREAS, Department by letter dated January 24, 19679 by
H,H, Eastin, Project Engineer for Department, requests that
County accept Bennum and Lunt Roads upon the condition that the
necessary corrective work mentioned in said letter and a subsequent
letter by HoH, Eastin dated January 27, 1967, which letters are
attached hereto, will be done by Department or by County at
Department's expense when weather permits and the nature and
extent the reof is known; and

Department's request and accept said roads and incorporate tine
same into County's road system and to assume maintenance and
operation thereof with the understanding that Department will
perform said corrective work when weather permits and the nature
and extent thereof is known;
NO~nT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1, That Bennum and Lunt Roads, as reconstructed by the
Department of Water Resources pursuant of its agreement with
County, numbered 154502, axe hereby incorporated into County's
road system for the purpose of maintenance and operation by the
County, subject to offer of Department to do the necessary
corrective work to said roads as mentioned in letters of H,H, Easti

Pro,~ect Engineer, to Clay Castleberry, Director of Public"Norks
of the County of Butte, dated January 24, 1967 and January 27,
1967, which letters are attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference and marked Exhibit "A", when weather permits and when th
nature and extent of the corrective work is known as hereinbefore
provided,
20 That pursuant to said DAR Agreement No. 154502,
Department shall reimburse County for a period of five C5) years
from the date hereof for deferred construction as mentioned in
Paragraph 6 of said agreement.
