BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTX OF BUTTE, STA'T'E OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL GRANT
FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS - COUNTY SERVICE AREA #26
WHEREAS, Butte County Service Area No. 26 was establis
for the purpose of constructing and operating sewage collection,
treatment, and disposal facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors to make application for a grant of federal funds
under Public Law 660 in connection with the above mentioned
County Service Area No. 26.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte, State of California as follows:
1. That the Butte County Board of Supervisors on behalf
of Butte County Service Area No. 26 apply for a federal grant
for sewage treatment works under Public Law 660 (33 U.S.C. 466
et. seq.) that the engineering firm of Ringel & Associates, Inc.,.
and the law firm of Minasian & Minasian, be authorized, on
behalf of said service area, to prepare and file the necessary
application forms for the purpose of obtaining federal assistance
in the construction required for treatment and disposal
facilities to serve Butte County Service area No. 26.
2. That the Chairman of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors be and he is hereby authorized to execute for and
on behalf of Butte County Service Area No. 26, any and all
applications and all other documents and papers required in
connection with application for and acceptance of federal,
grant funds under said Public Law 660 and to submit said applica-
tion and other documents to the Regional Water Quality Control
Board.
