HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-066C 7-- ~ ~ RESOLUTION NO. 67-66 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICES OF FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS AND ATTORNEYS IN CONNECTION WITH BUTTE COUNTY SERVICE AREA #26 WHEREAS, the professional services of Stone & Youngberg, as financial consultants, and Minasian & Minasian, as attorneys, have been and are now required in connection with the forma- tion, financing and construction of facilities for Butte County Service Area #26; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, as follows: 1. That this Board deems it necessary to and does hereby retain the services of Stone & Youngberg as municipal financial consultants in connection with County Service Area #26; that the - sum to be paid for its services is an amount equal to one and one-half per cent of the financing involved to become due and payable only upon receipt of funds to finance all or a part of the proposed project; that the Chairman and/or Clerk be authorized and directed to execute the contract attached to this resolution on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte. 2. That this Board deems it necessary to retain the services of Minasian & Minasian, attorneys at law, in connection- with the legal matters and work involved in the formation, financing and construction of Butte County Service Area #26 facilities; that County shall pay the firm of Minasian & Minasian a sum in the amount equal to two per cent of the - total construction-:cost of the project, payable upon receipt of funds to finance all or a part of the proposed project. It being understood that if condemnation is required, an additional fee to the basic fee of two per cent of the total construction cost will be charged. 1. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
