COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
1 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COUNTY SERVICE AREA TO BE
ENTITLED 0'COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 30" (Government
~ 6ode Sections 25210.1 et seq.)
3 WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 28th day of March, 1967, the
~ Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
5 adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to
6 establish a county service area to be entitled ''COUNTY .SERVICE
7 AREA N0. 30"; and
8 AHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 2nd day of May, 1967, at
9 11:00 o'clock a,m., of said day, in the Board of Supervisors
10 Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville,
11 State of California, as the time and place for the public
12 hearings on the establishment of said area; and
13 'y~HEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded to
14 hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said
15 area; and
16 ~7HEREAS, no written protests against the establishment
17 thereof where filed in accordance with Section 25210,17 of the
18 Government Code;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
20 of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
21 1. That said Board hereby finds and determines that
22 proceedir~s herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210,1
23 et seq. of the Government Code, and that publication and notices
24 were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and
85 determines that the extent to which the services described in
26 the Resolution of Intention are extended county services;
27 2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said
28 county service area,
29 3. That the boundaries of said service area are hereby
30 finally determined and established as the same as are shown on
31 Exhibit A, attached he~to, entitled 78Description of the
32 Boundaries of County Service Area No. 34!°, said Exhibit is

incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this
resolution.
4. That the name of said service area so established is
°tCOUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 30."
5, That the type of extended county services to be provided
within said area is street lighting.
6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis shall be annually
levied upon all taxable property within said area.
7. That said county service area is established for all
purposes subject only to complaince with the requirements of
Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code
and subject to the provisions of Article 2q5, Chapter 2.2,
Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State
of California.
