COUNTY OF; BUTTE, ,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
1 RESOLUTION FOR ;SUMMARY ABANDONMENT FUR A
PORTION OF THE RELOCATED COHASSET ROAD

3 TaHEREAS, Cohasset Road has been relocated, and a portion
4 of the Old Cohasset Road is no longer necessary or required for
5 road purposes; and
S ~+7HERE,A'S, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, Section
7 960.1, the board finds that a portion of Cohasset Road should be
g summarily vacated,
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
10 of the Gounty of Butte, State of California, as follows:
Il 1. The following described portion of the Old Cohasset Road
12 is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and
13 Highways Code Section 960.1:
14 A11 that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the westerly
16 prolongation of thermrtherly boundary of the Lassen View
Subdivision Unit Noa 2 with the easterly right-of~way
17 line of Cohasset Road as said subdivision and road are
shown on that certain map entitled "Lassen View Subdivision
18 Unit No, 2, a part of Lot 8 of the 12th Subdivision of the
John Bidwell RanchoA09 which map was recorded August 3091950
19 in Book 18 of Maps at page 31, Butte County Official Records;
thence from said point of beginning west along the said
20 prolongation of the northerly line of said subdivision 40,00
feet; thence North along the west right of way line of
21 Cohasset Road9 104027 feet; thence N 156 27' 59" E9 15,87
feet; thence northeasterly along the arc of a tangent 1540.00
22 foot radius curves concave to the west through a central
angle of 6606' S4°p9 an arc distance of 164,36 feet to the
23 westerly prolongation of the line common to Lots 8 and 99 as
said lots are shown on that certain map entitled, U°Revised
24 Map of the Twelfth Subdivision of the John'Bidwell Rancho"A
which map was recorded December 7, 1906 in Map Book 6 at
25 Page 11, Butte County Official Records (radial line to said
curve at this point bears S 80638'55°J E}; thence east 0,47
26 feet along the said westerly prolongation of the line common
to Lots 8 and 9 to the westerly common corner of said lots;
27 thence south along the westerly line of said Lot 8 and the
east right of way line of Cohasset Road, 280,00 feet to the
28 point of beginning, Containing an area of 0,170 acres, more
or lesso

Reserving, therefrom, a public utility and wire clearance
30 easement over, under9 across and through the above described
property,

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County

of Butte, State of California this 2nd day of May, 19679 by the
