COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXCHANGE REAL.
PROPERTY
7~IIEREA~, certain property described in Exhibit "'A", attached
hereto, and commonly referred to as Cohasset Road, has been

abandoned by Resolution No.~_; and
~7HEREA'S, other property adjacent thereto, fully described
in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, is not required for county use;

~IEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit "C9°, attached
hereto, is necessary for the public and the county use as highway
right of way; and
WI~EREAS, this board desires to exchange said property
pursuant to Section 960,4 of the Streets and Highways Code and
.Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California,
NOW, THERE1a0RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, .State of California, as follows;
1, The board hereby finds that the property described in
Exhibits "A'" and °NB" are. not necessary for public or county use,
and further that the property described in Exhibit ""C"' is
necessary for county use, and that said property described in
Exhibit '"A" and ""B" is of equal value to the property described
in Exhibit "C",
2. That it is the intention of this board to exchange, by
quit claim deeds, the property described in Exhibit "A" and '4B"
for the property described in Exhibit '"C".
3o That it is the intention of this board to make said
exchange on the 16th day of May, 1967, at the hour of 11;00 o'clocl
at the Board of Supervisor's Room, Courthouses located in
Oroville, California,
4. That the clerk of this board shall give notice pursuant
to Government Code Section 6061, by publishing in a newspaper

of general circulation in the County of Butte of the intention
of this Board to make such exchanged
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 2nd day of May, 1967,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, NacKillop, Pryde and Chairman Howsden

All that certain real property situate in the County of`Butte, .
State of California described as follows:
A portion of the H. B. Reed Ranch located in Rancho Arroyo
Chico, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 8 as shown on that certain
map entitled, "Revised Map of tl-.e itaelfth Subdivision of the John
Bidwell Rancho," which map was filed in the office of the Recorder ox
the County of Butte, State of California, on December 7, 1906, in Map
Book o, at Page 11; thence from said Point of Beginning South 00°36`00"
East 280,00 feet along the West line of said Lot 8 and the East line
of 01d Cohasset Road; thence leaving said line South 89°24'DO" West, it
40.00 feet to a point on the West line of Old Cohasset Road; thence
North 06°36'00" West 105.76 feet along the Sdest line of Old Cohasset
Road to a point 40.00 feet measured at right angles from the centerline
cf the New Cohasset Highway; thence along said line 40.00 feet distant
from the centerline of the Now Cohasset Highway the following courses
and distances, North 14°51'59" East 13.21 feet to the beginning of a
1540.00 foot radius curve .to the lefts, thence along the arc of said
curve through a central angel of Oo°09'19" an arc length of 165.44
feet; thence North 89°31'25" Ease 1.00 foot to the point of beginning
and containing 0.172 acres more or less.
