BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION CHANGING NAME OF BUTTE COUNTY ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO BUTTE COUNTY DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of December, 1962, by resolution,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte established the
Butte County Economic Development Commission; and
WHEREAS, there has been a confusion of identity between
use of the name with other agencies of the state and federal
government; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the name of said Butte
County Economic Development Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1a That the Butte County Economic Development Commission
name shall be changed to Butte County Development Commissiono
2. That henceforth the Butte County Development Commissio;
shall succeed to all of the duties and responsibilities of the
former Butte County Economic Development Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 2nd day of May, 1967,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, Yryde and Chairman Howsden
NOES : None
ABSENT' Supervisor McKillop
