RESOLUTION NO. 67-96
RESOLUTION CANVASSING VOTES CAST AND
ASCERTAINING AND DECLARING RESULTS OF
ELECTION AND ORDER DECLARING WYANDOTTE
CEMETERY DISTRICT ORGANIZED
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation
Commission has duly passed and adopted on January 5, 1967,
Resolution No. 67-1 approving the formation of Wyandotte Cemetery
District (Local Agency Formation Commission Resolution No. 67-1 I
being attached as Exhibit 1 and made a part hereof}; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte has duly passed and adopted on January 24, 1967, Resolution
No. 67-13 calling a special election for the purpose of submitting
to the qualified electors within the boundaries of the proposed
byandotte Cemetery District a measure to determine whether or
not the District shall be created; and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was thereafter duly
given as required by law and by said resolution, as more fully
appears from the affidavits on file with this Board of Supervisors;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that said election was duly held
in accordance with law and with said resolution on April 25, 1967,
as aforesaid, that the polls for said election were kept open
during the time required by law; and that said election was held

and conducted, and the votes thereat received and canvassed and
the results thereof ascertained, determined and declared, all as
provided by the laws of the State of California and by said resolu-
tion; and
WHEREAS, on this date this Board of Supervisors met at
its usual meeting place and has canvassed the returns of said
election as required by law and the result of said canvass is
found to be as hereinafter stated and set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE BOARD
OF SI3PE~ZVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The foregoing recitals are, and each of them
is, true and correct and this Board so finds and determines.
2. At said election held on Tuesday, April 25, 1967,
the following measure for the formation of Wyandotte Cemetery
District was submitted to the qualified electors within the
proposed Wyandotte Cemetery District and the number of votes
cast and the number of votes counted for and against said measure
(including absentee votes) were as follows:

3. Resolution No. 67-13 calling said election pro-
vided that for the purpose of said election the Wyandotte Cemetery
District constituted one (1) special election precinct, the
boundaries of which shall be coterminus with the boundaries of
the Wyandotte Cemetery District, and that the number of votes
cast in said precinct for and against said measure was as follows:

to time be required in connection with the formation and assess-
ment process.

The foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a
'resolution duly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of said
County, at a regular meeting of said Board duly and regularly
and legally held at the regular meeting place thereof on
1967, of which meeting all of the members
of said Board had due notice .and at which a majority thereof
was present.
At said meeting said resolution was introduced
by Supervisor Howsden and read in full, and was
thereupon, upon motion toy Supervisor Pryde ,
seconded by Supervisor -Maxon adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, McKillo~, Pryde and Chaixman Howsden
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
I have carefully compared the same with the original
'minutes of said meeting on file and of record in my office
and said resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the
original resolution adopted at said meeting and entered in said
.minutes.
The original resolution has not been amended, modified
!or rescinded since the date of its adoption and the same is now
