RESOT,UTION IN SUPPORT OF
°gSUPPORT OUR SERVICEMEN T~IEEK"
WfiEREAS, we, the members of the Board of Supervisors,
and citizens of the County of Butte, are concerned about our
servicemen everywhere, and especially in Viet Nam; and
WHEREAS, we, personally, and as representatives of the ~
citizens of the County of Butte, are desirous of supporting our
servicemen and publicly expressing our support to them; and
T~FIEREAS, there has been much publicity of the activities
of those organizations which would give less than total support
to our servicemen; and
WHEREAS, we feel our fighting men desire and need the
support of the people at home,
NOTE, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California that this board

proclaims the week of May 29 to June 4, 1967,~a ~tl°SUPPORT OUR
.SERVICEMEN WEEK", and urges all citizens to make every effort
to let our servicemen know of our concern and support in this
lendeavor.
