HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-099 1 2 S 4 S 6 7 8 9 ZO 11 12 13 14 i5 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31. 32 RESOLUTION N0. 67~~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION ANNEXING NON~CONTIGUOU,'S TERRITORX TO THE CITY' OF BIGGS, COUNTY OF BUTTE WHEREAS, a petition of the City Council of the City of Biggs, pursuant to Section 35201.5, et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, and pursuant to Article 3, Division 2, Title /+, of the Government Code entitled "Annexation Act of 1913'x, the annexation of certain contiguous, uninhabited territory, owned by said City and used for municipal purposes, coming regularly before this Board and notice having been given in accordance with law of the hearing of said petition and it appears that the following described property is owned by the City of Biggs and is used for municipal purposes, namely, the annexation of territory; that said territory and the City of Biggs being situated in the County of Butte, said territory to be annexed into the City of Biggs is described as follows; Commencing at an iron stake in the North line of Faris Avenue, said iron stake bears North 89° 39' Wiest, 732.2 feet from the intersection of the North and South center line of Section 13, Township 18 North, Range 2 East, M.D. B. & M., with, the North. line of Faris Avenue, and running thence North 89° 57' Wiest, 470.3 feet along said North 1ine~of Faris Avenue to the true Point of Beginning for the parcel herein described; thence North 0° 13' East, 432.4 feet to a point; thence North 89° 57'~West, b29.2 feet to a point in the Easterly boundary lire of the Fuller Addition to Biggs, as the same is laid down on the official map thereof, filed as ~ record in the office of the County Recorder of Butte County, California; thence South 15° 15' East, 500 feet along the Easterly line of said Fuller addition-and the centerline of 7th Street (unimproved) which line is the existing Biggs City limits to the North lire of Faris Avenue to a point; thence South 89° 57' Ease 495,7 feet along the North line of said Faris Avenue to the point of beginning, and containing 6.23 acres, more or less. That said territory is owned by the City of Biggs and is ed for municipal purposes, contains less than 100 acres, namely X6.23 acreso BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said petition ~is hereby granted and that said property hereinabove described be 1 2 3 4' 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 23 26 27 28 29 30 31 and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Biggs in accordance with the provisions of the Code hereinabove set forth, and that copies of this resolution be transmitted, one to the Secretary of the State of California, and one to the Clerk of the City Council of the City of Biggs, being the City legislative body, of the City so annexing as herein set forth, that attached to this resolution annexing said above described property is the date on which the same was passed, namely, the 6th day of February, 1967.
