X75 AND 522 OF SAID COUNTY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY 3 4 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; ~'i SECTION 1. The Hereinafter described area situate in the 6; County of Butte, State of California, shall be zoned as an t'R-lt- (Single Family Residential) District as hereinafter de- 7; scribed and subject to all of the restricted uses applicable to an "R-lt~ District.. Said area so zoned being located in the 8 community of Chico, California, particularly described as follows: ~' Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Manzanita Avenue and Vallombrosa Avenue; thence 10 westerly along said centerline of Vallombrosa to its intersection with the southerly extension of lot line 11' common to Lots 20 and 21 of Bidwell 19th Subdivision; thence northerly on said line and its extension and 12,' parallel to centerline of Madrone Avenue to its inter-, section with the centerline of Lindo Channel; thence 13 easterly along centerline of Lixzdo Channel to its intersection with the centerline of Ma.nzanita Avenue; - 14: thence southeasterly along said centerline of Manzanita Avenue to the point of beginning; excepting therefrom 15' all land within the incorporate boundary of the City of Chico. 1'6 ;' SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an ?7' 'PR-1~~ (Single Family Residential) District: 18 2.1 Uses Permitted; 1). Single family dwellings. 19', 2). Accessory buildings. 3). The following uses subject to the securing of 20: a Use Permit in each case: a). Golf courses and country clubs. Z1 ~ b). Public and quasi-public uses, including churches, fire houses, hospitals, parks 22 and playgrounds, schools and public I utility buildings. 23' c). Private stables. 24 2.2 Building Site Area Required:- Eight-thousand,-one hundred axed twenty-five ($,125) sq. ft. `~ 25 ~ . 2.3 Minimum Building Site Width Required: 26; Sixty-five (65} feet. ~ 27 2.1~ Minimum Front Yard Required; Twenty-five (25) feet. 28' 2.5 Minimum Side Yard Required: Six (6) feet. 29' SECTION 3. The Ordinance shall be, and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, pursuant to the emergency hereinafter found and declared; and it shall remain in full force and effect until such time as a permanent ordinance covering the above-described area shall take effect, following notice, public hearings and other procedures as provided in said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, or until such time as the Board of Supervisors-shall determine that the said area shall not be zoned as an ~~R-1" District. SECTION 5. For the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the area hereinabove described, and the residents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this ordinance take effect immediately. A declaration of the facts constituting the necessity therefor is as follows: The adoption of such Interim Zoning Plan is necessary in the public interest, to maintain the status quo in such district pending the determination of the appli- cation for such permanent detail zoning. SECTION 6. This emergency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (l~) days after its passage shall be published once, with the names of all members voting for and against the same in; the Chico-Ente rise , a newspaper published in said bounty of Butte.
