T'1iE ~?ANGROVE Ati'T;i','lii: r1SSESS~iE\1' DISTRICT, COU\TY OF EUTTE, STATE OF CALTFOR`In I3E IT RI~SOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that it is the intention of said Board to -order the fblloi•:ing i,=ork to be done and aca,'uisitions to be made under the provisions of Divisian 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of t}te State'of California (Improvement Act of 1911) to A=].t: Concrete curbs, gutters, driveway aprons, pavement consisting of aggregate base and subbase with asphaltic concrete surfacing, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances for the',herein described improvements, including removing and replacing existing facilities and removing and disposing of all refuse and surplus materials, together tt=ith the acquisition of any rights of way or easements necessary thereto. BE IT FURT}iER RESOLVED that said improvements be constructed in the streets, avenues, roads, lanes, courts, places and/or public ways, and in the particular locations set forth and shown on the plans and specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Butte; toget}ier with the construction of all appurtenances thereto, all in the particular locations as the same are shgt<<n on the plans. and specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Butte. That. the locations of the works to be constructed pursuant to this Resolution of intention axe shown upon the plans and specifica- bons which a,re on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Butte, andsaid plans and specifications are referred to for the specific loca,tians of the tivorks and structures to be constructed. That the structures and work and improvements herein de- scribed are to be constructed to the grades and sub-grades -and eleva- tions which are shown upon the plans and specifications which are on file in the office of the County Clerk of the County of Butte. All. of the ~~=ork shall include, without duplication, any and all streets, intersections, terminations and opposite ter~ninatiors occurring within the limitations of said work. -1- `~x•~xlla~~:~ 'the attention of all persons is directed to the fact that all of. said classes of work above described may not be constructed upon a17. of the streets and/or public ways above described in their entirety, but only upon the particular locations as shown in the plans and specifications hereinabove referred to', to which the atten- tion of all persons is directed for a description of the work, location of the several classes of work, a description of the classes of work to be done upon each of the several public streets or rights-of-tvay named, a description of the streets and rights-of-way, and for all other information contained in the said plans and specifications hereinabove referred to pertinent to the doing and completion of the work and improvements herein proposed; and 1Vf-EEREAS, said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of this Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, is of more than local or ordinary benefit, said Board of Supervisors here- by makes the expenses and costs of said work and improvements charge- able upon a district, which said district said Board of Supervisors hereby declares to be the district benefited by the work and improve- ments herein described; said district shall include that territory in the County of Butte, State of California, which is shown on that cer- tain plat or map on file in the office of-the County Clerk of the County of Butte, and ~vhith is entitled and described, "Pxoposed Boundaries, b~angrove Avenue Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California," and which said map or plat indicates by a boundary line the extent of the territory included in the proposed distxict, and covers all details as to the extent of the area to be assessed; said map or plat is, by this reference, incorporated herein and made a part hereof. Excepting from the area shown and delineated on said map or plat hereinabove referred to the area of all public streets, avenues, lanes, roads, drives, courts, places, public parks, and-all easements-and xights-of-way therein contained belonging to the public, -z- and also excepting from t}te area shown and delineated on said map ail property owned by the United States of America, the State of California or the County of Butte, and any other public agent manila- Cory of the Government, school board, educational, penal or .reform institution or institution for the feebleminded or the insane which is 'in use in the performance of a public function, and also specifi- cally excepting therefrom any property belonging to the United States of Amexica or the State of California, whether in use in the performance of a public function or otherwise. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that serial bonds shall be issued in the manner and form provided in Part 5, Division. 7, of the Streets and Higlnvays Code of the State of California (Improvement .4ct of 1911) to represent unpaid assessments of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or over, which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of not to exceed six per cent (6%) per annum, the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding the next September 1st following theix date. Said bonds shall be payable to bearer, and may be redeemed as provided in the Improvement Act of 1911, and there shall be added to the redemption clause in said bonds the following words: ".....together t,~ith a premium of five per cent (5%) of the unmatured principal." NOTICE IS IIEREBY GIVEN that the total estimated cost of the entire project is X235,898.61, and the total estimated amount of -~-L --- contributions toi~~ard the project by the City of Chico and the County of Butte is the sum of $135,053.00, leaving a total estimated amount to be assessed upon the properties benefited in the sum of X100,$45.61. NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Tuesday,. the_20th~.. day of June, 1967, at the laot~°r. of 11.:Oa o`cIoek A..A~t:: of said day, at the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located in the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, any and all persons having any objections to the grades to'which said work is proposed to be done, or to the boundaries of , the district proposed to be assessed to pay the cost-and expenses of said work, may appear before said Board of Supervisors and show cause why said improvements should not he carried out in accordance with this Resolution of Intention, and may present written protest not later than the hour hereinabave set for hearing against the. doing of said s~rork, the grades to which said trork is to be done, or the extent of the territory to be assessed to pay the cost and expenses thereof. The County Clerk of the County of Butte shall cause this Resolution of Intention to be published twice in the CHICO EBiTERPRISE, a daily ne~•rspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the County of Butte, which said newspaper,is hereby designated as the newspaper in which shall be printed and published all notices, resolutions, orders and other matters required to be published in the proceedings taken pursuant to this Resolution of Intention and under the provisions of the said "Improvement Act of 1911",-and amendments thereto, the first publication of said notice to be not less than ten (10) days prior to the date herein fixed for hearing on this Resolution of Intention. The County Surveyor shall cause to be conspicuously pasted aloe;g the line of said contemplated work and improvement, and oa all the open stxeets within the assessment district, notice of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, in the time, form and manner required by ].aw. `- The County Clerk of the County of Butte is hereby directed to mail a copy of this.
