RESOLUTION NO . 67 - ~ d -~
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AMENDING AND RATIFYING RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING
CASH DIFFERENCE FUND AND CASH OVERAGE FUND Government
Code Sections 29370 et seq.)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
on December 18, 1962, passed Resolution No. 62-105, establishing
a cash difference fund and cash overage fund; and
WHEREAS, it was the intent of the Board of Supervisors to
establish this cash difference fund to cover all those contingen-
cies set out in Government Code Sections 29370 et seq; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature added into Article 4, Government
Code Section 29373.1 in 1963; and
WHEREAS, it has always been the intent of the Board th at
Resolution No. 62-105 would include the provisions of Government
Code Section 29373.1,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
~I OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE as follows:

1. That Resolution No. 62-105 is hereby ratified and
confirmed.
i 2. In order that there can be no question concerning
Government Code Section 29373.1, Resolution No. 62-105, is amended
to add an additional paragraph as follows:
"'The cash difference fund may be used to increase the
amount tendered to the County Treasurer so as to equal
the amount due the County for any act when a difference
in an amount of $1.00 or less exists. A record of such
use shall be maintained, containing sufficient information
to identify the account, iddentify the person making the
payment which was not equal to the amount due the county,
and show the amount of difference."
