HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-1071 2I 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 is 19 20 21 22 23 24 2S 26 27 28 29 30 33. 32 RESOLUTION N0. 67r BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the 'State of California, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the establishment of a county service area within the County of Suate, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. That a county service area is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter~in the unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A' .attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as th ough fully ',set forth verbatim and at length. 2. 'That the name proposed for said county service area is County Service Area No.3 3. That there are no extended county services provided in this area. 4. That the types of extended county services proposed to be provided in this area is the construction, operation, main- tenance, repair, and upkeep of a swimming pool to be constructed within the proposed service area. 5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which are furnished on all extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area. 6. That on June 27th , 1967, at 11:00 a.m., a public hearing will be held on the establishment of said area. Excepting therefrom these lines located within the boundaries of the Richvale Recreation and Park District which is described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Section 1, Twp. 19 N, R 2 E: thence westerly along Twp. line 3 miles, more or less, to the northwest corner of Section 3, of said Twp; thence northerly along section line ~ mile, more or less, to quarter corner common to Sections 33 and 34 of Twp. 20 N, R 2 E; thence Westerly along quarter section line'miles, more or less, to point of intersection of center line of Butte Creek of Twp. 20 N, R 1 E; thence meandering southwesterly along center line of said Butte Creek to point of intersection of south boundary line of Section 33, Twp. 19 N, R 1 E; thence easterly along Twp, line 5.8 miles, more or less, to sautheast corner of Section 32 of Twp. 19 N.R. 2 E; thence northerly along section line 3/4 miles, more or less to quarter quarter corner common to Sections 32 and 33 of said Twp; thence easterly along quarter quarter section line 1.75 miles, more or less, to centerline of Southern Pacific railroad track; thence northwesterly along centerline of said railroad track 3/4 miles, more or less, to point of intersection of quarter section Iine of Section 27 of said Twp; thence easterly along quarter section line 2.5, more or less, to centerline of State Highway 99E; thence northerly along center line of said State Highway and along center line of Shippee Road 4.5 miles, more or less to point of beginning.
