RESOLUTION OF A?lAR~7 OF CONTIt,.~CT
TdHEREAS, the County Clerh of the County of Butte, State of
California, on the 13th day of June, 1957, at a public meeting,
publicly opened, examined and declared all sealed proposals or bids
for doing the work and improvements described in Resolution of In-
tendon No. G7-102 for the construction of improvements and acquisi-
tion of necessary rights of way or easements, in the Mangrove
Avenue Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California,
which said Resolution of Intention was adopted on the 23rd day of
May, 1957, and is hereby expressly referred to for a.description of
said ~,~ork and improvement and for all particulars relative to the
proceedings under said Resolution of Intention; and
rJHEREAS, said kids, after being publicly opened, examined and
declared; were referred to the Engineer of ~~'orlc of said assessment
district, were calculated by him, his -report thereon returned to the
County Clerk, and said report and the results of the bidding were
reported to the Board of Supervisors of said County of Butte at its
next regular meeting;
NOLJ, Tl-IEREFORE, IT IS lIGP.EBY RESOLVE~3 by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Califoniia, that said Board hereby
rejects all of said bids or proposals except that herein mentioned,
and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement
to the lowest responsible bidder, to ~vit:
BUTTE CREEK ROCK CO.
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office
of the County Clerk of the County of Butte.
Said County Clerk is hereby directed to publish a Notice of
said award in the Cl~ICO ENTERPRISE, a daily newspaper published and
circulated in the County of Butte, and the newspaper heretofore
designated for that purpose by said Board of Supervisors of Butte
County. '
