RESOLUTION NO. 67- ~~~
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION REGARDING OROVILLE 'SING-OUT
WHEREAS, Oroville has been singled out by the National
Sing-Out-Moral Rearmament movement; and
WHEREAS, on Saturday, June 24, 1967, "Sing-Outers" from
throughout the State of California will co ngregate here in Oro-
vi11e for rehearsals for massed performances, for performances
before the Governor of the State of California and the State
personnel, the California Legislature, and McClellan Air Force
Base the following week,
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS as follows:
1. That this board extends its heartfelt welcome to all
the "Sing~Outers" coming to Oroville, and for alI parents and
other people accompanying them;
2. That this board congratulates the City of Oroville and
the Oroville Sing-Out group; and
3. That copies of this resolution be sent to the Oroville
Chamber of Commerce and to other interested parties designated
by the board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 20th day of June, 1967,
by the fallowing vote:
