BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
3 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
4 In Re Issue of Bonds of
g .PALERMO UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
'6 1958 SCHOOL BONDS,
7 SERIES '- $10,000.00.
g WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County, State
,g of California, heretofore on the 11th day of July, 1967, duly passe
10 and adopted its resolution and order providing for the issuance of
7.1 $10,000.00 principal amount of bonds of PALERMO UNION SCHOOL DIS-
12 TRICT designated "1958 School Bonds," as set forth in the records
13 of this Board of Supervisors; and,
14 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County, State
15 of California, heretofore on the 1st day of August, 1967, sold said
16 $10,000.00 issue. to Dean Witter & Company; and,
17 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County, State
18 of California, have now determined that the PALERMO UNION SCHOOL
19 DISTRICT lacks bonding capacity sufficient to allow the sale of
20 this issuance of the District's bonds, and that said sale should
21 be rescinded and the bid check of Dean Witter & Company returned to
22 them.
23 IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the resolution.
24 heretofore adopted providing for the issuance of $10,00p.00 prin-
25 cipal amount of bonds of PALERMO UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT designated
26 as "1958 School Bonds" be, and the same is hereby, rescinded.
27 IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the sale of said bonds to
2$ Dean Witter & Company is rescinded, and the deposit check of Dean
2g fitter & Company shall forthwith be delivered to said Company.
