BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CAL~'ORNIA
2 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COUNTY SERVICE AREA
TO BE ENTITLED °'COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO o 32°.°
3 (Government Code Sections 2521001 et seq.)
4 WHEREAS, heretofore on the 15th day of August, 1967, the
~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California,
6 adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to establish
7 a county service area to be entitled °°COUNTY SERVICE AREA NOa 32";

9 WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 19th day of September,
10 1967, at 11:00 o°clock aom., of said day, in the Board of Supervis~-
11 ors Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville,
12 State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing
13 on the establishment of said area; and ',
14 WHEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded
15 to hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said
16 area; and
17 ~4THEREAS, no written protests against the establishment
18 thereof were filed in accordance with Section 25210,17 of the
19 Government Code;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
21 of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
22 1, That said Board hereby finds and determines that
23 proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210x1
24 et seq, of the Government Code, and that publication and notices
2g were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and
26 determines that the extent to which the services described in
27 the Resolution of Intention are extended county services;
28 2, That said Board hereby determines to establish said
29 county service area,
30 3, That the boundaries of said service area are hereby
31 finally determined and established as the same as are shown on
32 Exhibit A, attached hereto, entitled "Description of the

Boundaries of County 'Service Area No. 32", said exhibit is in-
corporated herein by reference and made a part of this resolution.
4. That the name of said service area so established is
"COUNTX SERVICE AREA NO. 32".
5. That the type of extended county services to be provided
within said area is to provide a survey and study of the drainage
problems and develop a master plan for drainage within said area.
6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis shall be annually levied
upon all taxable property within said area.
7. That said county service area is established for all
purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of
Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code
..and subject to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part
2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVZSQRS of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 19th day of September, 1967,
by the following vote:

A~.i. that certain territory, area, tracts, pieces
and parcels of land tying, being and situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, and particularly
described and bounded as follows, to wit:
Being carts of Tow nship Twenty-two (22) North, of
Range Three (3) Fast, M.D.B. & M. and Township Twenty-
two (22) North, of Range Four (4) East, M.A.B. & M.
in said County of Butte, State of Calif ornia, more
particularly described, and the boundaries there of
are more particularly set forth and described as
follows, to wit:
Commencing at the South West corner of Section 16,
Township 22 North, Range 3 East, M.D.M.; and
running thence South, along the Section line
to the South West corner of Section 28 of said
Township; thence East, along the South boundary
line of Sections 28, 27, 26 and 25 of said
Township to the South East corner of said
Section 25; thence North along the East line
of said Section 25, to the 1/4 section corner
common to Sections 25 and 30; thence East along
the East and West center line of Section 30,
Township 23 North, of Range 4 East, to the
South East corner of the South West 1/4 of the
North Rast 1/4 of said Section 3'}; thence
North, along the North and South center line
of the ~:ast l/2 of said Section 30, said
Township and along the center line of the East
i/2 of Section 19 to the North Fast corner of
the North West 1/4 of the North East 1//~ of said
Section 19; running thence in a straight line
to the North West corner of the North East
1/4 of Section 18; running thence. North, along
the center lire of Section 7 and Section 6,
to the South East corner of the North West
1/4 of the said Section 6; running thence in a
straight line to the North East corner of the
North West 1/4 of the North West 1/4 of the
said Section 6, said point being on the North
boundary line of the said Township 22 North,
Range 4 East; running thence West, along the
said Township line and along the North boundary
of Township 22 North, Range 3 East, to a point
on the said line 660 feet East of the North
West corner of the North East 1/4 of:Section 1
of the said Township 22 North, Range 3 East;
running thence in a straight line, to the North
West corner of the North East 1/4 of the South
West 1/4 of the said Section_ l; running thence,
in a straight line, to the North West corner of
the North East quarter of Section 11, said
Township and Range; running thence, in a straight
line to the North West corner of the South West
1/4 of the North West 1/4 of the said Section 11;
running thence, in a straight line to the center
of Section 10, of the said Township 22 North,
Range 3 East; running thence in a straight line
to the point of beginning:
There being excepted and excluded from said
district and above description thereof the
EXHIBIT .`~"A"
1 right of way of the Butte County Railroad,
being and consisting of a strip of land 100
2 feet wide extending along said railroad and
on both sides thereof, where said railroad
3 traverses said district, as the said strip of
land is described in the conveyances of the
.¢ same filed as of record in the office of the
County Recorder of Butte County, and the petition
~ filed herein praying for the exclusion of said
lands, hereby referred to for a particular
6 description thereof.
