BOARD OF `SUPERVTSORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF CONTRI BUTTON BY
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO THE
CONTRACTOR FOR-WORK PERFORMED IN MANGROVE AVENUE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, COUNTY OF BUTTE; STATE OF
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, did, on the 23rd day of May, 1967, adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 67-102 to order all of the therein
described work to be done and acquisitions to be made in Mangrove...
Avenue Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of June, 1967, said Board of Super•
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted
Resolution No. 67-112 ordering said work to be performed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention hereinabove described
provided that the City of Chico and the County of Butte would

contribute approximately $135,000000 toward the payments of the
cost of the improvements to be made; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the work toward which the contribut•
ions of the City of Chico and the County of Butte is to be applied
has been completed and the proportionate amounts to be contributed
by the City of Chico and the County of Butte are: By the County
of Butte, $90,929.85, and by the City of Chico, $37,349.35; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer of Work has certified that the work
and improvement for which the contribution by the County of Butte,
State of California, is to be paid has been completed, and it is
in order for said payment to be made,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of Calif ornia, that the payment of
$128,279.20, less 10%, be, and it is hereby, authorized and
directed to be made to BALDWIN CONTRACTING COMPANY, INC., a
corporation doing business under the fictitious name and style of
BUTTE CREEK ROCK CO., the contractor in the Mangrove Avenue

Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California, said
payment representing 90 percent of the cost of said work;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the remaining 10 percent of the
monies due the contractor sha11 be paid upon expiration of the lie
period following the filing of the Notice of Comp le tion.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 7th day of November,
1967, by the following vote:
