BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POSTAGE REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, the County Administrative Officer as Purchasing
Agent is responsible for purchases of postage; and
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been established a Postage
Revolving Fund in the amount of $1,250.00; and
WHEREAS, the cost of postage and volume of mailings has
rasen sharply since this limitation was set; and
WfIERE:4S, Government Code Sections 29320 et seq. authorize
the establishment of and limitations on revolving funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors as follows:
1. That the Purchasing Agent`s Postage Revolving Fund is
hereby established at the amount of $5,000.00; and
2. That the Auditor is directed to draw his warrant in the
amount of $3,750.00, payable to the County Administrative Officer
to bring the revolving fund to the new amount.
FA`SSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 14th day of November, 1967, by the following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Howsden
NOES ; None
ABSENT: None
