BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING GRANT
DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, certain property described in. Exhibit "B", attached
hereto and commonly referred to as Oro Dam Boulevard, has been
abandoned by Resolution No. 67-177; and
WHEREAS, said property, fully described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto, is not required for county use; and
WHEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto, is necessary for the public and the county use as right-
of-way; and
WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution No. 67-17b,
passed and adopted, December 5, 1967, stated their intention to
exchange the real properties described in the exhibits herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, as follows:
1. The board hereby exchanges the real property described
in Exhibit::."B", attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
jforth in full, for that certain real property shown in Exhibit "A",
~iwhich is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth
Iin full.
', The chairman is authorized to sign a Grant Deed in favor of
'Arthur E. Hiatt and Pauline M. Hiatt, covering the real property
described in Exhibit "B.", and the chairman is further authorized to
accept a Grant Deed from Arthur E. Hiatt and Pauline M. Hiatt in
favor of the County of Butte, covering that certain real property
described in Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
'of Butte, State of California, this 19th day of December, 1967,

All that certain real property situ<~te in the County of Butte, State of California,
described as follows:
A portion of the southwest quarter o~ Section 18, T19N, R4E, MDB&M, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot i0, as shown on that certain map entitled
"Map of Seem Industrial Tract"~ recorded February 10, 1950, in Book 17 of Maps, at
pages 33 and 34, Official Records of Butte County, said point also being on the
southerly right of way line of Oroville Dam Boulevard formerly Oroville Truck Route,
80 feet ~oide); thence 5 9°17100"W, along the westerly line of said Lot 10, 5.31 feet;
thence parallel with and distant southeasterly 45.00 feet from the centerline of
said Oroville Dam Boulevard as established by t''-.gat certain deed to the County of
Butte, recorded December 30, 1947, in Book 288, at page 59, Butte County Official
Records; on a non_tangent curve, concave to the northwest ;radial line to said curve
at this point bears 5 10°16711"E), with a radius of 1045.00 feet, through a central
angle of 10°15711", an arc length of 187.00 feet, and S 89°59'00"W, 192.32 feet;
thence leaving said parallel line on a tangent curve, concave to the southeast, with
a radius of 25.00 feet, through a central angle bf 83°57718", an arc iength of 36.63
feet; thence S 6°01742"W 278.13 feet to the easterly right of way lire of Feather
River Boulevard formerly Oroville-•Marysville Highway, 60 feet wide); thence along
said easterly right of way line of Feather River Boulevard, parallel with and distant
southeasterly 30.00 feet from the centerline of Feather River Boulevard, S 2°54720"W,
417.36 feet to the northerly line of the Oroville Cemetery; thence leaving said easterly
right of way line of Feather River Boulevard N 87°05'40"W, 30.00 feet to the center-
line of said Feather River Boulevard; thence along said centerline N 2°54720"E, 417.36
feet; thence on a tangent curve, concave to the southeast, with a radius of 4000.00
feet through a central angle of 4°26700", an arc Zength of 309.51 feet; thence N
7°20 20" E, 34.52 feet to the intersection poiht of the centerlines of said Feather
River and Oroville Dam Boulevards; thence along said centerline of Oroville Dam Blvd.

a radius of 1000.00 feet; through a central angle of ll°10716", an arc length of
194.97 feet to the westerly line o£ said Seem Industrial Tract; thence S 9°17700"W,
along said westerly line 42.5$ feet to the pint of beginning. Containing an area
of 0.079 acre, more or less, not now owned or occupied by Butte County.

Commencing at the most westerly point of the land relinquished to Butte County by
the State of California, as shoran on that certain map entitled "State of Gali£ornia~
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways9 map showing superseded highway to
be relinquished to Butte County," and filed October 8, 1962, in State Highway Map
Book 3 at page 90 Official Records of Butte County; thence S 33°43152"E, along the
most cesterly line o£ said relinquishment, 125.84 feet to the true point of beginning
of this description; thence leaving said westerly line, N 89°55150"E, parallel with
and distant southeast 45.00 feet from the centerline of Oroville Dam_ Boulevard
(formerly State Road III-BtIT-21A), 296.91 feet; thence leaving said parallel line,
on a tangent curves concave to the southwest, with a radius of 25.00 feet, through
a central angle of 93°02'37", an arc length of 40.60 feet; thence S 2°54'20" W
49.00 feet to a point on that certain line as described in the deed to A. E, Hiatt
and Pauline Hiatt, recorded October 11, 19$7, in Book 905 at page 424, Official
Records of Butte County, and point of cusp; thence along said line on a non tangent
curve (radial line to said curve at this point bears S 34°54'04"E); concave to the

1en~th of 91.36 feet, and S 89°55'46" W 254.30 feet to the most southerly point of
the above. said westerly relinquishment line; thence N 33°43'52"W along said westerly
