AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
BCTTTE GOUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 522
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
DO ORDAIN as followso
The BatterCounty Ordinance No, 522 is hereby amended in the following
particular:
Section b of said Ordinance is amended to read:
ao dunk yards, secondhand stores, auto wrecking yards, used car lots,
trailer sales and equipment sales.
b, Commercial distillation of bones, abattoirs, auction yards,
commercial livestock feed yards, Bommercial millings, canneries, lumber
and lumber processing, tanneries, fat rendering, garbage fed commercial
hog railings food and agriculture- product processing plants.
co Country clubs, golf courses, race tracks, dr~;vle-ins, ball parks,
riding academies, bowling alleys, commercial amuseme~ enterprises,
taverns9 dance halls and other places of recreation of a similar
character.
d. Commercial kennels and small animal hospitals and crematories.
e. Trailer courts, construction labor camps.
f. Commercial airports (excepting individual or private airports
and those operated exclusively for agricaltural purposes).
g. Cemeteries, crematories, mausoleums, or other places for the
burial or other disposal of the Kaman dead.
h> Storage of inflammables (excepting for agricultural purposes).
i. Commercial or public dumping and disposal areas.
~. Manafacturing of acids explosives, fertiliser, glue, gypsum,
lime, plaster of Paris, pulp and paper, beet sugar, crushed rock,
sand 8c gravel, Bement, concrete and/or"asphalt batch~ng plants,
Boncrete atzd clap products.
k. Industrial uses which might be ob3eetianable by reason of emission
of noise offensive odor, smoke, dust, bright light, vibration or involy-
ing the dandling of explosives or dangerous materials.
The foregoing amendment to Ordinance No, 522 shall take effect thirty
(30) days after the passage of the same, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15} daps after such passage, the foregoing amendment sha11 be -
published with the names of the members voting for and against the same,
at least once in the O.roville cress , a newspaper published in the
County of Butte.
