RESOLUTION r ~~
RESOLUTION OF COUNTY ELECTING TO BE GOVERNED BY
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 23004.1 .AND 23004.2
OF THE GOVERNMENT CORE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 23004.1 authorizes the
county to charge a reasonable value for hospital, medical and
other care and treatment which is by law required to be furnished
and provides that the county may enfarce the collection of_such
reasonable value; and
WHEREAS, Section 23004.2 permits the county to compromise
and settle any claim which the county might have by virtue of the
rights established by section 23004.1.
NOTI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF~SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE that they elect by this resolution to be
governed by the provisions of sections 23004.1 and 23004.2 of the
Government Code of the State of Californian
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 16th day of January
1968, by the following vote:
(AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
