BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT
CLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has
summarily abandoned that certain right of way as described in a
Quit Claim Deed attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
forth in full, pursuant to the provisions of Section 960.1 of the
Streets and Highways Code by Resolution No. 68-/(0 and
WHEREAS, as a matter of law the land so summarily abandon
ed in Resolution No. 68-~_ reverts to the fee owner pursuant
to Streets and Highways Code Section 960.3; and
WHEREAS, the various title companies request, in addition
to the resolution of abandonment, a Quit Claim Deed to eliminate
any question of construction of Deeds or resolutions,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Butte County Boar
of Supervisors hereby authorizes its chairman to sign the Quit
Claim Deed attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and that the.:.Quit C1ai:
Deed be delivered to the title company or recipient in question
for recordation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1968, by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, McKillop, Pryde & Chairman Maxot
NOES: None
ABSENT: Nuae

COUNTY OF BUTTE, a political subdivision of the State of California,
do es quit claim unto Roy Mathews and Opal Mathews, his wife,
all Char real property situate in the County of Sutte
Stare of.California, described as follows: -
All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State of California,-
being a portion of the old Oroville-Gridley Highway lying east of the Feather River and
being a portion of the south half of Section 33, T1$N, R3E, MDB&M, mare particularly
described as follows:
All that portion of the above said old Oroville-Gridley Highway, as described
in the deed to Butte County, recorded December 24, T941, in Book 28b, at
Page 5, the deed to Butte County recorded November 23, 1921, in Book 195 of
Deeds, at page 102, and the deed to Butte County recorded Sanuary 6, 1913, in
Sook 132 of Deeds, at page 454, Official Records of Butte County, said pardon
bounded on the east by the southerly prolongation of the easterly Iine of that
certain parcel of land conveyed to Roy Mathe~crs, et ux by deed recorded December 14,
1942, in Book 302, at Page 334, Official Records of Butte County and bounded on the
west by the Feather River. Containing an area of 0.829 acre, more or less.
