BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGH-
WAX AND NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING (Sections 956.8
3 and 958 Streets and Hi hwa s Code)
6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTX OF
6 BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
7 1. That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors to
8 abandon the county highway hereinafter described, pursuant to
9 Section 956.8 of the Streets and Highways Code of this state.
10 2. That the hearing on this Resolution To Abandon County
11 Highway shall be held on Tuesday, the 26th day of March, 1968, at
12 11:00 aom. of said day in the.Supervisors' Room in the Butte
13 County Courthouse, fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville, Calif~-
14 ornia, at which time said board will hear evidence of any party
15 interested.
16 3. That this resolution and notice is adopted pursuant to
17 a motion of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
18 of Californian
19 4. That a copy of this resolution of intention shall be
20 published in the Oroville Mercury, a newspaper of general circu-
21 lation in the County of Butte, and copies conspicuously posted,
22 all as required by Section 958 of said Streets and Highways Code.
23 5. That the county highway, the subj ect of this resolution
24 and notice, is situate in the County of Butte, State of California,.
25 and described as follows:
26 A portion of Boynton Avenue - Western Pacific Addition
27 filed as of record in the office of the County Recorder
28 of the County of Butte, California, in Map Book /~ at page
29 16, being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
30 All that portion of Boynton Avenue lying South of White
31 Rock County Road ~a1so known as Long Bar Road), as said
32 White Rock Road. is described in that. certain deed to Butte

County recorded. February 15, 1927, in Book 195
of Deeds at page 466, Butte County Official Records,
and containing an area of o.4 acre, more or less.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the Count
of Butte, State of California, this 5th day of March, 1968, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
