BOARD OF SUPERVTSORS
1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT OF BUTTE COUNTY HIGHWAY

4 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
6 State of California, heretofore declared its intention to vacate
6 and abandon the following described public highway of the County
7 of Butte:
8 A11 that real property situated in the County of
9 Butte, State of California, described as follows:
10 A portion of Boynton Avenue ~ Western Pacific Addition
11 filed as of record in the office of the County Recorder
12 of the County of Butte, California, in Map Book 4 at
13 page 16, being more particularly described as follows,
14 to wit:
15 All that portion of Boynton Avenue lying South of
16 White Rock County Road also known as Long Bar Road),
17 as said 'White Rock Road is described in that certain
18 deed to Butte County recorded February 15, 1927, in
19 Book 195 of Deeds at page 466, Butte County Official
20 Records, and containing an area of 0.4 acre, more or
21 less.
22 WHEREAS, upon filing Resolution of Intention To Abandon
23 said highway, the Board of Supervisors did, by order, fix the 26th
24 day of March, 1968, at 11:00 a.m., of said day, at the Butte
2S County Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the time and place
26 for a public°hearing; and
27 WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was given to all freeholder:
28 of the district in which said highway is ,located by publication
29 for two successive weeks prior to the date of said hearing, in the
30 Oroville Mercury, and by posting similar notices along the line of
31 the highway proposed to be abandoned; and
32 WHEREAS, it appears that all legal requir ements have been

complied with, and the board, being fully informed and advised,
finds that the highway described in said resolution is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of .Butte, State of California, that the public
highway as above described is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
The County Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of
this order in the office of the County Recorder of Butte;County,
for record.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 26th day of March,
1968, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, Pryde and Acting Chairman McKillop
NOES : None:
ABSENT: Supervisor Maxon
