Seel~~"Au~3itor RESOLUTION N0. 68- b0 BOARD OF SUP:~RVISORS 1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA 2 RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM GENERAL FUND TO COUNTY SUPERINTENDF~IT OF SCHOOLS' BUDGET' TO ALLOW 3 CONTRIBUTION TO THE' WORK TRAINING CENTER FOR THE HANDICAPPrD, INCORPORATED 4 5 WHEREAS, the. Work Training Center for the Handicapped, g Incorporated, is in need of obtaining the amount of $1,744.04 7 by June 15, 1968, to clear a projected budget deficit to enable g this organization to continue to service the blind, emotionally g disturbed, brain damaged, epileptic, and mentally retarded people; 10 and 11 WHEREAS, the Work Training Center is of considerable 12 service to the. citizens of the County of Butte through operation 13 of a work shop for handicapped people; and 14 WHEREAS, support of such work training centers by govern- 15 mental agencies is specifically authorized in both the Welfare 16 and Institutions Code and the Education Code of the State of 17 California, lg NOW, THF~REFORR, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors 19 of the County of Butte, State of California, that the amount of 2p $1,744.00 is hereby transferred from the Provision For Contingency 21 Fund to County Superintendent of Schools' budget, and specifically 22 authorizes the County Supe rintendent of Schools to pay to Work 23 Training Center For the Handicapped, Incorporated, only so much 24 of the amount of $1,744.00 as is needed to finance the cash 2g operating deficit from January 1, 1968, to June 30, 1968.
