RESOLUTION SETTIIQG TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING FOR
DETERMINING PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY OF THE
CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS AND ACQUISITIONS IN
EAST AVENUE ASSESSt~iENT DISTRICT, COUNTY' OF BUTTE,
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, has undertaken special assessment
proceedings for the improvements and acquisitions to be made
in East Avenue Assessment District, County of Butte, State of
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super,
visors of the County of Butte, State of California, that Tuesday,

the ~h day of May, 1968, at the hour of 0 0' clock ,~~.~M. of
said day, is hereby fixed as the day and hour, and the meeting
place of the Board of Supervisors of the County_of Butte,
located in the Courthouse, Butte County, Oroville, California,
as the place, when and where any and all persons interested
may appear and show cause why the Board should not find and
determine that the public convenience and necessity require
the said proposed improvements to be made in said East Avenue
Assessment District without compliance with the provisions of
the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority
Protest Act of 1931.
.The County Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
the time and place of said hearing in the following manner:•
(1) By publishing a Notice of Hearing once, said pub-
lication to be not less than 10 days prior to the
date of said .hearing;
(2) Sy posting a copy of the Notice of Hearing at or
near the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors
for five (5} days prior to time of said hearing.

I iiEREBY CERTIFX that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting
23rd
thereof, held on the h day of April, 1968, by the following
vote, to wit:

NOES: Supervisors Nane
