COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND NOTICE DECLARING INTENTION TO SELL
REAL PROPERTY (Government Gode Section 25526, et seq.)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said board hereby declares that it intends to
sell that certain real property situate in the County of outte,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, and being a portion of
Lot 32 of Gridley Colony No. 3, as shown on the
Official Map thereof recorded December 9, 1905, in
Book 4 of Maps, at page 47, Official Records of Butte
County, and being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of the State
Highway 639.6 feet north of the south line of the
above said Lot 32 Gridley Colony No. 3, said point
being also on the north line of that certain 904
acre tract conveyed by Artie Nugent, et mar, to
Gordon T. Miller, recorded in Book 4I, page 433,
Official Records of Butte County. Running thence
from said point, North 89040° East along said line
20$ 6 feet; thence south 208.6 feet; thence South
89 40' W 208.6 feet to the east line of said State
Highway; thence north along said line 208.6 feet
to the point of beginning. Containing one acre,
more or less.
2. That the teens and conditions of said sale are as
follows:
(a) That the minimum price that will be acceptable for
the said parcel of real property is $11,000.00.
(b) That the purchase of said real property is to be
paid in cash, or on terms as follows: $1,100.00 down, $50.00
or more, plus b% interest per month on the unpaid balance, with
the option to pay in full at any time.
(c) That title insurance will be furnished.
3. That Tuesday, the 28th day of May, 1968, at 11:00 a.m.
of said day, is hereby fixed as the time at which the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, at a meeting of said board,
will receive sealed proposals to purchase said real property and

will consider said sealed proposals, and the place of said meeting
will be in the Supervisors' Room of the Courthouse, situate on
Huntoon Street, in the City of Oroville, County of Butte, State of
California.
4a That no commission will be paid to any licensed real
estate broker.
5. That notice of the adoption of this resolution and the
tame and place of holding the meeting to consider sealed proposals
for the purchase of said real property shall be given by posting
copy of this resolution, signed by the chairman of the board, in
three (3) public places in the county not less than fifteen C15)
days before the date of the meeting, and by publishing the notice
in the county pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government Code, to
wit, once a week for three C3) successive weeks.
6. At the time and place fixed herein for the meeting to
consider sealed proposals for the purchase of sand real property,
the highest qualifying bid will be accepted, unless upon a call
for oral bids, such oral bids shall exceed by at least 5% the
I highest written proposal.
7. The Board of Supervisors shall consider written proposal:
and oral bids separately and reserve the right to accept or reject
all written proposals and/or oral bids.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 23rd day of April, 1968, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howdden, Pryde and Acting Chairman McKillop
NOES : None
ABSENT : Chairman Maxan
