RESOLUTION No. 6870
ESTABLISHING DEPARTMENT FOR BUTTE COUNTY
MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
WHEREAS, by resolution Butte County Mental Health Services was
established pursuant to the Short~Doyle Act o£ Butte County, California, and;
WHEREAS, Section 9009 of the Welfare and Institutions Code provides
that the local mental health services he administered by a local director,
as provided by law;
I~QW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Sutte, State of California,-that a separate department of mental
health services be established to be administered by a local director who
shall be qualified as psychiatrist and otherwise that the requirements for
qualifications of the director of local mental health services as established
by Section 620 of the Short-Doyle regulations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this 30th day of April, 1968 by the following vote:
AYES:Supervisoes Dunaway, Howsden, McKillop, Pryde & Chairman Maxon
