BOARD OF SUP?vRVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTiJ, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND ORDER EXCEPTING PROPF,RTY IN THE CHICO
FIRE DISTRICT FROM STRUCTURAL FIRE TAX
WHER~;AS, the Chico Fire District, County of Butte, has
petitioned the board of supervisors, in writing, for the exclusion
of property from the levy of taxes for structural fire protection,
which said petition is supported by a resolution of the governing
body of said district, all in accordance with Section 25643 of the
Government Coda, of the State of California,
NOW, .THEREFOR E, BE TT ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as
follows:
1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 25643 of the
Government Code of the State of California, all property within
the limits of the Chico Fire District in the County of Butte,
including all property which may hereafter be annexed to said
City prior to tax levy being mach thereon, is hereby excluded from
a tax levy to provide funds for structural fire protection of the
areas in the County of Butte.
PASSER AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 7th day of May, 1968,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsdan, McI~illop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
NOrS : None
ABSENT : Supervisor Danaway
