RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER AND HOLD HEARINGS
ON A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH A COUNTY
SERVICE AREA.
WHEREAS, two members of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte knave requested the establishment of a county
service area for the purpose of street lighting, the boundaries
of which are described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made
a part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, prior to the consideration of the board of super
visors and the resolution of intention, it is necessary to obtain
the comment of the Local Agency Formation Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
'Supervisors that they intend to consider a resolution of intention
to establish a county service area for the purpose of street
lighting contained within the boundaries described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that by this resolution the board of
supervisors' submit the proposal to the Lcical Agency Formation
Commission for their actions at their next regularly held meeting.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 14th day of May, 1968
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, Mc~illop, Pryde and Chairman Maxon
