RESOLUTION N0. 68-85
RESOLUTION OVERRULING.PROTESTS
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of April, 1968, the Board of Super-
. visors of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted its
Resolution Fixing Time and Place for Hearing on Public Convenience
and Necessity in the East Avenue Assessment District, .County of
Butte, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed Tuesday, the 14th day of May,
1968, at the hour of 7:30 P.Ni. of said day, at the meeting place
of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located in
the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the time
and place for hearing protests with relation to the public con-
venience and necessity of the improvements and acquisitions to
be made; and
WHEREAS, certain owners of property liable to be assessed
for said work and improvements and acquisitions made written pro-
tests or objections in writing and delivered the same to the
County Clerk not later than the hour set for hearing such objec-
tions; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and ob-

jections on the loth day of May, 1908, said Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, opened and continued
the hearing from time to time until the 11th day of June, 1908,
at the hour of 11:00 o'clock A.M.; and
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of June, 19b8, said continued hearing
was held and all protests or objections of every kind or nature
having been heard and duly considered;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Butte,.State of California, that all of
the protests and objections of every kind or nature be, and the
same are .hereby, overruled or denied; and
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVE- that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, finds that said pro-
tests and objections are made by the owners of Less than one-half
of the area of the property to be assessed for said improvements
and acquisitions.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of.
Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held
on the 11th day of June, 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
