RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING
GRANT DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN,TO SIGN
1 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
2 State of California, heretofore declared its intention to exchange
3 that real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for
4 that certain real property described in Exhibit "B" attached here-
5 to; and
6 WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit '^A"
q attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or county use;and
$ WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit aaBn
g attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as
10 highway right of way; and
11 WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
12 WHEREAS, this board desires to exchange said property
13 Pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and
14 Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
16 OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, as follows:
17 1. That the board hereby exchanges the real property
lg described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein
19 as if set forth in full, for that certain real property shown in
20 Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
21' if set forth in full.
22 The chairman is authorized to sign a Grant Deed in favor of
23 Glen .Ao Johnson and Ruth Johnson, covering the real property
24 described in Exhibit "A", and the chairman is further authorized
2B, to accept a Grant Deed from Glen A. Johnson and Ruth Johnson in
26 favor of the County of Butte, covering that certain real property
2q described in Exhibit a'B°~.
28 PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County
29 of Butte, State of California, this 11th day of June.
