RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
That this Board finds and determines that the public
interest and convenience require and that this Board hereby
orders that certain places, rights of way and public roads
within and adjacent to East Avenue Assessment District in
the County of Sutte be improved by constructing thereon one
or more of the following improvements:
Curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage
facilities and all necessary appurtenances.
That said work and improvements shall be done in
the County of Butte, to the extent, with the materials, and
in the manner set forth in Resolution No. 68-81 Resolution
of Intention adopted by this Board on May 28, 1968, and
this Board hereby refers to said Resolution of Intention far
a description flf. said work and improvements and fox the terms
and conditions under which said work is to be done and said
improvements are to be constructed.
That this Board finds and determines that no protests
were filed against said work and improvements or against the
district of lands to be assessed to pay for the cost of said
work and improvements and the incidental expenses thereof.

That this Board finds and determines that each of
the places and rights of way described in said Resolution of
Intention is a necessary place or right of way fox constructing
said work and improvements and that this Board hereby orders
that each of said places and rights of way not now owned by
the County of Butte be acquired by the Gounty of Butte and that
the cost thereof, including incidental expenses thereof, shall
be assessed as a part of the costs and expenses of said work
and improvements.
That this Board hereby directs the Clerk to post a
Notice to Bidders conspicuously for five (5) days on or near
the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
in the Butte County Courthouse in the City of Oroville,
Calif ornia, which notices shall refer to the specifications,
and invite sealed proposals or bids for doing said work and
improvements; and that this Board hereby directs the Clerk
to publish twice a Notice to Bidders, which shall refer to
the specifications and invite sealed proposals or bids for
doing said work and iugovements, and that this Board hereby
directs that said publication shall be in the Chico-Enterprise
Record, a newspaper published and circulated in said County
of Butte, which newspaper has been heretofore designated for
that purpose.
That this Board hereby directs the Clerk to specify
in said notice that all proposals for doing said work shall
be received by her at her office in the said Butte County

hereby designates said day as the day on which this Board at

;:;;proposals or bids to be publicly opened, examined and declared
and directs the C1ezk to specify all of the same in said notice.
This Board also directs the Clerk to state in said
notice that all proposals or bids shall be accompanied with a
check certified by a responsible bank, payable to the County
of Butte, for an amount not less than ten percent (100) of
the aggregate of the proposal or by a bond for the said amount,
and so payable, signed by the Bidder and two sureties, all as
prescribed by law.

OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, THIS 2 th DAY OF JETNE ,
