RESOLUTION DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CON-
STRUCTION TO BE DONE IN EAST AVENUE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
UNIT N0. 2, COUNTY 4F BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Board of .Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, did, on the 9th day of July, 1968,
adopt its Resolution of Indention to order the- improvements and
acquisitions to be done and made in East Avenue Assessment Dis-
trio Unit No. 2, County of Butte, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention fixes Tuesday, the
6th day of August, 1468, as the time for hearing on the Resolu-
tion of Intention;
NOW, TIIEREFORE, for t~ze purpose of determining at the
time of hearing on the Resolution of Intention the total contract
cost of the work proposed to be done pursuant to said Resolution
of Intention,
TT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, that sealed proposals
for the doing of said work and making of said improvements shall
be delivered to the County Clerk of the County of Butte on or
before Tuesday, the 6th day of August, 1968, at the hour of
11:OD o'clock A.D1. of said day, at t33e office of the County
Clerk of the County of Butte, located in the Butte County Court-
house, Oroville, California, i,rhich said time and place are hereby
fixed as the time and place of a public. meeting, at which said
bids tiaill be publicly opened, examined and declared by the County
Clerk of the County of Butte. Said bids, after being publicly
.opened, examined and declared, will be calculated by the Engineer
of Idork, his report returned to the County Clerk,, and the report
of the results of the bidding and the calculations of the Engi-
neer of 14ork will be reported to the Board of Supexvisors of the
County of .Butte. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right
to reject any and all proposals'or bids should it deem this neces-
saxy for the public good, and also the bid of any bidder who has
been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the
County of Butte.
The County Clerk of the County of Butte is hereby ordered
to give notice inviting sealed bids in the time, form and mannex
provided by law.

I IiEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors, of the
County of Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting
thereof, hold on the 9th day of July, 1968, by the fallowing
vote, to wit:
