RESOLUTION OVEP.RULING PROTESTS
IVHEREAS, on the 9th day of July, 1968, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, passed
its Resolution of Intention to order certain improvements and
acquisitions to be made in East Avenue Assessment District Unit
No. 2, County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant
to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911," the names
of the streets proposed to be improved, a description of the
streets and/or public ways and./o.r easements on which said improve-
ments are to be made, the .location and character of. said pro-
posed work, and the assessment district beinn described in said
Resolution of Intention, iti~hich is hereby expressly referred to
for al.l further particulars; and
WEIEREAS, certain owners of property 1i.ahle to be assessed
for said improvements and acquisitions made written protests
or objections in writing and delivered the same to the County
Clerk not later than the hour set for hearing such objections;
and
titi~HFRT:AS, at the time set for hearing the protests and.
objections, the said Board of Supervisors proceeded to hear the
same, and all of the protests or objections having been heard
and duly considered;
N04V, THF,REFOR_E, BF. IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super-
visors. of the County of Butte, State of California, that all
of the said protests .and objections of every kind or nature be,
and the same are hereby overruled or denied: and

BE IT FURTIiER RESOLVED that said Board of Supervisors
finds that said protests and objections are made by the owners
of less than one-half of t}~e area of the property to be assessed
for said improvements and acquisitions.

I iiFRIiBY Ci:RTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of .Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting
thereof, held on the 6th day of Augt.ist, 1968, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Siipervisors RUNAWAY, HOWSDPN, MAXON
NOES: Supervisors NONE
ABSENT: Supervisors McKILLOP, PRYDE
