2 ORDER AND RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPF.,RVISORS, COUNTY
OF BUTTE, PROVIDING FOR CONSOLIDATION OF CHICO AREA
3 RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT ELECTION OF TRUSTEES AND
PARADISE RECREATION DISTRICT ELECTION OF TRUSTEES WITH
4" THE GENERAL STATEWIDE ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVF~`'IBER 5, 1968.
'S WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Chico Area Recreation
g: and Park District of Butte County, California, and the Governing
q Board of the. Paradise Recreation District of Butte County, Calif-
8 ornia, have called and ordered to be held in said districts on
g the 5th day of November, 1968, special district elections, and
10 have requested this board to order consolidation of said special
11 district elections with the statewide General Election to be held
12 November 5, 1968,
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
14 SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF'"CALIFORNIA, as
15, fallows:
lg 1. That the special district election to be held in the
17 Chico Area Recreation and Park District on November 5, 1968, and
lg the special district election to be held in the Paradise Recreat-
19 ion District on November 5, 1968, at which elections there shall
20 be submitted to the qualified electors of said districts the names
21 of the candidates for said baards, are to be consolidated with the
22 statewide election to be held on N vember 5, 1963.
23 2. That the returns of said special district elections for
24 the Chico Area Recreation and Park District and the Paradise
2g Recreation District shall be canvassed, or caused to be, by the
2B County Clerk of Butte County and certified to the governing board
27 of the district. Further, said consolidated special district
28 elections of Chico Area Recreation and Park District Board and
2g' Paradise Recreation District Board and the statewide General
30 Election shall be held in all respects as though they were only
31 one election.
32 3. That the expenses of the elections attributable to said

districts shall be charged to said districts respectively.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 'IHE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, this 13th day of August,
1968, by the following vote
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Howsden, McKillop, 1'ryde, Chairman
