ESTATES UNIT N0. 3 ASSESShIHNT llISTRICT, COUNTY OF
BUT9'E. STATE OF CALIFORNIA. ___
BE I'I' RESOLVED by the Board of .Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That there has been filed with this Board of 5uper-
visors a petition signed by the owners of more than GO per cent of
the area of the property within the boundaries of the proposed assess-
ment district outlined in the map which is on file in the office
of the County Clerk of the County of Butte, and entitled, "Proposed
Boundaries of Sierra Del Oro Estates Unit No. 3 Assessment District,
Butte County, California;" that said petition requests that special
assessment district proceedings be instituted to construct certain
improvements and make certain acquisitions within the boundaries
of said district, and that the cost and expenses thereof should be
assessed upon the property wi,tliin the boundaries of said district.
2. Preliminary determination is hereby made that the public
convenience and necessity require the following improvements and
acquisitions to he made and paid for by special assessments levied,
upon the property benefited and that necessary special assessment
proceedings should be taken therefor.
3. The nature of the proposed improvements and acquisitions
consists of the construction of street improvements, storm drainage
facilities and a domestic iv~ater supply system, together with alI
other improvements and .appurtenances necessary and the acquisition
of any rights of way or zeal property for a complete scheme of
improvements in Sierra Del Oro Estates Unit No. 3 Assessment Dis-
trict, County of Butte, State of California.
4. The cost and expenses of the payment of said im-
provements and acquisitions will be borne by an assessment district
which shall be known and designated as Sierra Del Oro Estates Unit
No. 3 Assessment District, County of Butte, State of California,
and the boundaries of said district are hereby shown upon that certain.
map ot~ file in the office of the County Clerk of the Count y. of Butte
and designated, "Proposed Boundaries of Sierra Del Oro Estates Unit
No. 3 Assessment District, Butte .County, California..'.'
5. Tt is further determined that :~iURRAY ~ ~icCOR~fICK, INC. ,
a corporation, shall be Engineer of iVork in accordance with the terms
and conditions of a letter from said firm, which-said letter is to be
filed with the proceedings. It is further ordered that STURGIS, Dl~N-
I)ULK, DOUGLASS i', ANDERSON, Attorneys at Law, Oakland, California,
shall be Special Bond Counsel to prepare all proceedings in accord-
ance with the terms and conditions of a-letter from said firm,
which said letter is to be filed with the proceedings.
6. Said special assessment proceedings are to be taken
under the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1J11 of the State
of California, with bonds to be issued under the provisions of the
Improvement Act of 1911.
7. The firm of tiiU1tRAY ~ AtcCOR~1ICK, INC., is hereby appointed
Engineer of Work for the doing of all necessary engineering work
and exercising all of the functions provided for the office of En-
gineer of 19ork and Superintendent of Streets under the Improvement
Act of 1911, and .l0€iN C. LICiiLITER of said firm is hereby authorized-
. to sign all documents required to be si-gned by the,Engineer of 1Vork
of said assessment district.
