PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY OF THE IMPROVEI~iENTS AND ACQUI-
SI1'IONS IN SIERI2E\ DEL ORO ESTATES UNIT A'O. 3 ASSESSR4ENT DISTRTCT,
.COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
:WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, has undertaken special assessment proceedings
for the improvements and acquisitions to be made in Sierra Del Oro
Estates Unit No. 3 Assessment District, County of Butte, State of
CaJ-ifornia;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that Tuesday, the 8th
day of October,. 1968, at the hour of 11:00 o'clock A.A1. of said day,
is hereby fixed as the day and hour, and the meeting place of the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, located in the Courthouse,
Oroville, California, as the place, when and where any and all per-
sons interested may appear and shola cause why the Board should not
find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require
the said proposed improvements and acquisitions to be made in said
assessment district without compliance with the provisions of the
Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931. -
The County Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the following manner:
1. By publishing a Notice of Hearing once, said pub-
lication to be not less than l0 days prior to the
date of said hearing;
2. By posting a copy of the Notice of Hearing at or
near the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors
for 5 days prior to the time of said hearing.

T HEREBY CERTIFY that tl~e foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board o£ Supervisors o£ the County of
Butte, Suite o£ California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 27th day of August, 1968, by the following vote, to wit: '
